A brief description of the minimum total compensation provided to the institution’s lowest paid employee or pay grade:

The lowest paid regular employee receives $12.55/hour. Part-time staff members are insured for an amount equal to their deemed annual salary. The deemed annual salary represents the gross basic salary in the preceding fiscal year exclusive of any supplementary, sessional, or overtime payments. Each eligible employee will have a healthcare spending account in addition to the insured benefits. If they have opted out of the Supplementary Health Plan, they will still be eligible for this benefit and Dental coverage. The spending account for part-time staff members is an annual maximum (April 1 - March 31) of $580.
