This survey, developed and administered in 2021, asked the Whitman community a variety of questions regarding climate action, energy efficiency, smart infrastructure, green building standards, and more. The goal of the assessment was to understand what our community thinks and feels are important issues in climate action, how they feel the college is pursuing those goals, and what the college should be focused on.

The representative sample was reached through email, listservs, and our daily communication marketing materials.

The results of the assessment showed us that our community puts a lot of effort and care into funding climate action, electric vehicle support, solar panels, and building efficiency.
