The first Administrative Update to STARS 3.0 – STARS 3.0.1 – was approved by the STARS Steering Committee last month and has now been implemented.
As outlined in the STARS Technical Development Policy, Administrative Updates include only minor corrections and clarifications (e.g., fixing typos or adding definitions). As Administrative Updates don’t include substantive changes, we don’t publish a summary of changes document as we typically do with more significant changes.
Changes of this nature are implemented directly in STARS 3.0 reports and materials so there is no need to upgrade to a new version. The Technical Manual, credit files, published reports, and associated materials have been updated accordingly. To minimize confusion, we recommend that participants update any previously downloaded Technical Manuals and credit files.
