AASHE is excited to celebrate the first cohort of STARS data quality certified professionals! The STARS Data Quality certificate program promotes STARS report quality and accuracy through training around reporting and review. A total of 107 individuals from 8 countries completed the inaugural offering of the program this Fall.

A list of certificate holders who wish to be public can be found on the Certificate Program webpage. STARS data quality certified professionals are trained to contribute to high-quality and accurate STARS reporting, and become certified before either serving as a reviewer on a STARS report, or serving as a data provider and submitting a report. These efforts are recognized in a STARS bonus credit, IL 2: Data Quality Certificate.

Sustainability professionals working in (or considering) STARS are encouraged to utilize this list as a resource for soliciting STARS report reviews, networking, or making other connections.

If you are interested in becoming a STARS data quality certified professional yourself, the next cohort will take place in May 2025 (full details TBD).
