STARS 2.1 will be retired at the end of this month in favor of STARS 2.2, which was released in 2019. If your institution is planning to submit a report under version 2.1, it must do so before May 31, 2021. Otherwise, a user with administrative access should upgrade to version 2.2 from within the Reporting Tool. Upgrading will copy saved data saved into the appropriate documentation fields in the current version. Learn more about how v2.2 differs from v2.1.
After May 31, we will begin the process of automatically migrating any remaining institutions to STARS 2.2.
