Can information be shared between credits?

Several STARS credits ask for data that is required in the PRE section or another STARS credit. In order to easily share this data between credits, you can use the “Copy from” buttons to automatically copy your data.

There may be situations in which the data you wish to provide for a credit will not match the PRE section. For instance, a valid reason for figures to differ is using a different performance year for a particular credit. In such cases, you would simply enter the correct data without copying in any information. In situations where you are using the same performance year, but the data you copy in must be edited (for example, when a credit specifically allows some building space or people to be excluded), information explaining the change must be documented in the public Notes field.

Below you will find a breakdown of the data that appears in the PRE section that can be copied into other credits.
