The Office of Sustainability has a monthly e-newsletter distributed to more than 3000 faculty, staff, students, and community partners. The newsletter highlights current projects and accomplishments relating to sustainability, news articles, upcoming events, and direct ways for readers to take action on campus and off. The Union Street Center (Cedar Hall) has a large sign detailing the green building features of the building designed (which was designed to LEED Silver standards). The Indiana Memorial Union also features signage about ongoing efforts to improve sustainability in operations and maintenance of the existing building.

Healthy IU has created walking maps for all IU campuses. These maps feature four 2,000-step, one-mile walking loops on the IU Bloomington campus, which include: The Arboretum Art Trail, the Shaded Wilderness Trail, the Red Brick Trail, and the Woodlawn Loop Trail. https://healthy.iu.edu/campus-programs-services/bloomington/physical-activity.html

The Office of Sustainability website features information about energy usage, environmental quality, alternative transportation, recycling, water conservation, sustainable food, green cleaning, educational opportunities, and getting involved. As a partnership between the Collins Living Learning Center, the Integrated Program in the Environment, and Office of Sustainability, the SustainCollins program is a sustainability-themed living-learning program that is open to students of all majors. The group of students are provided the opportunity to live with like-minded students, involvement in a year-long Student Sustainability Project, are asked to complete some environmentally themed service and seminar requirements, and have direct access to IU sustainability staff and other resources/programming.
