A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:

Though not bike sharing, Bike App supports the Appalachian State community through education and advocacy for a more sustainable, bike-friendly campus and town. Bike App provides *free* bicycle tunings, repairs, and other educational opportunities. Bike App is located on Rivers St across from Katherine Harper Hall. No need to sign up in advance, just drop by the trailer during open hours.

There is a fleet of vehicles available for shared use by campus employees:
The App State motor pool has four all-electric Chevrolet Bolts and an electric-hybrid Chevrolet Volt. Charging stations for campus use are located at the Legends Lot and the Rivers Street Parking Deck.

Yes

Currently App State has 6 charging stations, two located at River Street Parking deck and four in the Legends parking lot along with a solar canopy. All of these charges are level 2 and are provided as a free service.

Appalachian State University's Carbon Neutral Commuter program:
With the purchase of a campus parking pass, Appalachian State University staff, students and faculty had the opportunity to make a financial gift to support the purchase of carbon offsets. This voluntary contribution of $8 will reduce the university’s carbon footprint by the amount of carbon created during an average commute by one person for one year.
