FY2013 was the baseline selected for our first STARS submission in March 2018. At the time we selected a baseline year 5 years prior to the performance year and used that across credits. We are continuing to use this baseline to maintain consistency across submissions.

A brief description of the institution's initiatives to replace plumbing fixtures, fittings, appliances, equipment, and systems with water-efficient alternatives:

Recent renovation of residence hall bathrooms included low-flow, dual flush toilets.

In the most recent contract for residence hall washing machines, the college chose ultra-high efficiency, energy star certified washers which use approximately 11 gallons of water per load.
