A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:

Indiana University Bloomington's campus is 1,936 acres and is home to almost 50,000 students. This report includes data from the University's institutional data and reporting website.

Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
Present? Included?
Agricultural school No No
Medical school No No
Other professional school with labs and clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary) Yes Yes
Satellite campus Yes No
Farm larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares No No
Agricultural experiment station larger than 5 acres or 2 hectares No No
Hospital No No

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:

Indiana University Bloomington does not have an agricultural school, a medical school, a farm larger than 5 acres, an agricultural experiment station, or a hospital. Although the Indiana University system does have satellite campuses, this report specifically addresses the IU Bloomington campus. IUPUI reports separately for the Indianapolis campus, and other campuses have reports in the works.

IU Bloomington does have a School of Public Health, and a School of Optometry. These are included.
