Lafayette College has several notable policies and programs to make the institution accessible and affordable to low-income students:
1) Lafayette College meets 100% of demonstrated need. This need-based financial aid commitment applies to both domestic and international admitted students.
2) Lafayette College offers a no-loan commitment. The College will replace federal loans with grants and work study for first-year domestic students entering Lafayette for the 2022-2023 academic year with a total family income up to $150,000 and with typical family assets for their income levels.
3) The CSS Profile requirement is waived for first year students entering the College in Fall 2022 who attend high schools designated as high-poverty (>=75% of the high school’s students qualify for free and reduced lunch). These students are exempt from submitting it for the remainder of their time at Lafayette.
4) The college has partnerships where we conduct workshops to supports effort to build college going culture (essay writing, case studies, interview blitz), and engage them during travel:

This inclusion adds 9 additional incoming students.

"Percentage of students graduating without student debt" is sourced from the most available data at the time of submission - The 22-23 Lafayette college CDS.
