Does the institution have an ongoing program or programs that offer incentives for faculty in multiple disciplines or departments to develop new sustainability courses and/or incorporate sustainability into existing courses?:
A brief description of the program(s), including positive outcomes during the previous three years (e.g. descriptions of new courses or course content resulting from the program):
One objective of North's Strategic Plan is to "increase student satisfaction with meaningful learning experiences." Another objective is to "increase the development of the college's sustainability efforts in resource utilization, curriculum and campus culture." Integrated Studies learning outcomes include sustainability. The Sustainability Office provides sustainability-related co-curricular support to all faculty. The Sustainability Office also works with the Teaching and Learning Center providing professional development to its faculty and staff.

A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:
One primary incentive is saving time to faculty in their planning by having the Sustainability Office organizing and facilitating forums around a topic of interest that supports a sustainability-related theme in a program or course. Co-curricular support includes contacting non-profits as guest-speaker to a class or open-forum, and distributing student surveys. The Sustainability Fund paid for refreshments to a guest speaker that was open to the campus on renewable energy in Fall 2017.
Also, the Sustainability Coordinator provides co-teaching support by serving as an adviser and client for Campus as a Living Lab projects for faculty.
Also, instructors and students are able to apply to the Sustainability Fund. When student projects are developed in a course, we can use the funding to pay for the project, help students achieve their goals with the project, and act as a pseudo-client so they get both the benefit of the academic experience, while having actionable project experience.
