100 percent of North Seattle College floor area is included in the U.S. EPA Portfolio Manager. This Portfolio Manager data is shared with the Seattle 2030 District, which has energy and water conservation goals for existing buildings. In addition, North Seattle College shares its Portfolio Manager data with the City of Seattle under their Energy Benchmarking program.

As an organization managing building space greater than 20,000 square feet within the City of Seattle, North Seattle College participate in the City of Seattle Energy Benchmarking program. Annual energy consumption, including electricity, natural gas, and steam heat of all buildings are reported and tracked. All City of Seattle Energy Benchmarking is tracked through the US Environmental Protection Agency's Portfolio Manager online system. http://www.2030districts.org/seattle

North Seattle College are members of the Seattle 2030 High Performance Building District. We voluntarily have agreed to make progress on building environmental efficiency in the realms of energy, water, and transportation.
