Through SDSU`s partnership with the International Student Exchange Program, Council on International Studies Abroad, and the Council on International Educational Exchange there are education abroad programs with themes of sustainability. One example is the 6-week CIEE Summer Sustainability and the Environment Program in Monteverde, Costa Rica that focuses on sustainable economic development, environmental engineering, and more.
