A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The Diversity and Inclusion Office organizes cultural events in partnership with the local community and other offices on campus. Several of our speaker series incorporate experts on diversity-related issues. These activities are open to all staff, as well as faculty and students.
Ex.
A flamenco dancing performance with three faculty from different religious backgrounds who discussed the history of flamenco in relation to their faith.
