A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :

Faculty, staff and students can serve as Sustainability Ambassadors for their departments, administrative units, or student organizations/living groups. The ambassador network strives to create a more sustainable KU through generating new ideas, establishing partnerships, and sharing information about sustainable research and practices with the campus community.

Sustainability ambassadors meet once a month throughout the year to learn about campus sustainability initiatives, tour sustainable features on campus and in the community, discuss issues of sustainability at KU, and collaborate on solutions to the challenges we face as a campus.
