A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

Sustainability is included in the “New Hire Resources” webpage which is visible to all incoming new hires, but likely viewed by a majority of non-academic staff. Sustainability resources include: 1) Sustainability Tips for New Hires, 2) Sustainability Resources for Faculty, 3) an overview of USC's 2028 Sustainability Framework (Assignment: Earth), 4) USC Single-Use Plastic Beverage Bottle Policy, 5) a Sustainability Toolkit, and 6) contact information for our Sustainability Engagement Specialist. A sustainability toolkit is also featured on the USC employee WorkWell Center website:
https://workwell.usc.edu/tools-resources/

As of the date of STARS submission, sustainability is not included in the orientation for academic employees (faculty), but USC does provide sustainability resources for faculty via the above and specific research and curriculum related resources here: https://green.usc.edu/faculty/

A “Sustainability for New Hires” slide was added to the onboarding presentation for the Administration Operations Division employees (see attached file)
