The College offers the Richard H. Goodwin Environmental Research Fellowship to support an honors thesis related to the environment or sustainability in any discipline. This is a prestigious research award that provides a stipend plus support for supplies, travel and publication costs. More information about the fellowship can be found here: https://www.conncoll.edu/goodwin-fellowship/

The Goodwin-Niering Center for the Environment provides support for sustainability related research. Students in the center come from all different disciplines with a focus on how to connect their major to the environment. Each student carries out a senior integrative project or honors thesis. Students receive support for a summer internship related to their research prior to their senior year. They also receive advising and coaching on presentation skills and have opportunities to present their research.
