A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:

Margaret Bounds served as a mentor through the AASHE Mentorship Program for a staff member at Swarthmore College from September 2022 - June 2023. The two met monthly throughout the term to collaborate, brainstorm and discuss implementation challenges.

A brief description of the peer review activities:

Margaret Bounds, Director of Sustainability served as a peer reviewer for Williams College, report submitted in March 2022, and Eastern Connecticut State University, report submitted in October 2022.


A brief description of other inter-campus collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year :

CTW One Source, an online purchasing platform, was adopted by Connecticut College, Trinity and Wesleyan to streamline procurement contracts and utilize the collective purchasing power of the three college's in contract negotiations. Work was also done by the planning group to better identify sustainable products within the system and remove erroneous "sustainability" labels from products.
