A brief description of the policies and procedures that ensure community stakeholder engagement is applied systematically and regularly across the institution’s activities:

The university has a notification policy to keep Waltham residents living near our campus up to date on campus activities, changes and capital projects that may interest them or affect their day-to-day lives.


A brief description of how the institution identifies and engages community stakeholders, including any vulnerable or underrepresented groups:

The university keeps an active email list of local residents and is in frequent contact with them regarding changes on our campus. The university also uses social media to update and engage Waltham residents.

Most recently, local residents were invited to an event at the President's House to provide their thoughts on a new building planned for campus.

All Waltham residents located within 0.5 miles of the campus are included on a lists for engagement in physical changes on campus and capital projects that may affect them.

The greater Waltham community is also considered a stakeholder in numerous campus activities.
