Total energy consumption (all sources, transportation fuels excluded), performance year:
55,972.54 MMBtu

Clean and renewable energy from the following sources::
Performance Year
Option 1: Clean and renewable electricity generated on-site during the performance year and for which the institution retains or has retired the associated environmental attributes 0.15 MMBtu
Option 2: Non-electric renewable energy generated on-site 3,698.74 MMBtu
Option 3: Clean and renewable electricity generated by off-site projects that the institution catalyzed and for which the institution retains or has retired the associated environmental attributes 0 MMBtu
Option 4: Purchased third-party certified RECs and similar renewable energy products (including renewable electricity purchased through a certified green power purchasing option) 0 MMBtu

A brief description of on-site renewable electricity generating devices :

Solar Panels at the Miller Center:
The system is 40,768 w, and has 182 PV modules, with an energy production of 44,880 kWh = .1530188375 MMBtu

A brief description of on-site renewable non-electric energy devices:

There is geothermal heating and cooling for Perry, Juniper, Valcour, Butler, & Whiting

Used the following:
Hourly flow data (GPM)
Hourly Delta-T (inlet and outlet)

For each hour I calculated BTU/hr:
BTU/hr = GPM x Delta-T x 500

Then I added the yearly BTU/hr (8760 hrs/yr) values to determine total yearly energy usage.

MMBtu = BTU / 1,000,000

For the Delta-T figure, I used the average from a 24 hours span (Feb 28-29) at Perry Hall and used this figure for all buildings.

GPM Average Hourly Delta-T BTU/Hour BTU/year MMBTU/year
Perry 75 2.37876304 89203.61401 781423658.7 781.4236587
Juniper 75 2.37876304 89203.61401 781423658.7 781.4236587
Butler/Valcour 150 2.37876304 178407.228 1562847317 1562.847317
Whiting 55 2.37876304 65415.98361 573044016.4 573.0440164
