A brief description of the institution's stormwater management initiatives:

Procedures are in place to 1) eliminate any new connections to existing storm drain system; instead route storm water to cisterns or rain gardens, 2) require new paved areas be handled with permeable pavers or alternative methods that do not create additional storm loads, and 3) utilize strategic plan to eliminate/retrofit existing parking lots/storm water drains using storm water best management practices.

Permeable pavers are located in front of the Early College. They allow water to pass through all the while creating a paved surface that has traction and support.

Yes, we have installed three new ponds on campus including the rain garden at the RCAC, brining the total to four.

Placed around high grade landscapes to ensure reduction of water from natural runoff, resulting in a reduced peak stream discharge.

Yes

A brief description of the institution's vegetated swales:

Located along the backside of campus. This vegetated swale is overgrown to provide the ideal filtration from parking lot runoff before entering stream.

We utilize a rain garden for stream discharge reduction and bio filtering.
