Indiana University Student Government (IUSG) exists to provide student input at the highest levels of faculty, staff, and administrative decision making. We work to improve the student experience and the university as whole by advocating for student ideas and well-being in a variety of ways.
There is also a separate Bloomington Faculty Council of elected faculty representatives, chaired by the Provost: https://bfc.indiana.edu/

The Bloomington Staff Council provides leadership in the continual improvement of university policies and practices that enhance the quality of life of the professional employee while supporting the institutional mission.

The IU Board of Trustees hosts open forums throughout the year where the public is invited to listen and comment on university decision-making. Public forum topics vary based on university needs, as well as state requirements. Comments/questions may be offered in person, virtually, or via email.
