A brief description of the institution’s third party certified land holdings:

Macalester is a neonicotinoid-free campus. The college earned this designation in 2016 from the BEE Protective Campaign which is led by the Center for Food Safety and Beyond Pesticides. Other related efforts as a result of this program include educating the college community and beyond on pollinator and planting pollinator-friendly habits on campus.
