Career Threads

A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:

Seneca Polytechnic’s Seneca Works operates Career Threads which serves as a place where students can get free business attire for networking events, interviews and other professional opportunities. Clothing items such as shirts/blouses, shoes, suits, skirts and pants are donated by the community.

Career Threads is an on-campus resource at Seneca’s Newnham Campus that promotes equitable access to professional clothing while keeping goods out of the landfill. Any student or alumni of Seneca can request up to three clothing items per year.
