The University is home to the North County Symposium whose missions is to convene stakeholders in northern New York to explore and ultimately enhance the region's economic, environmental, and educational vitality (http://www.stlawu.edu/north-country-symposium).
Additionally, members from the University serve on the Village of Canton's municipal sustainability committee (http://www.cantonnewyork.us/sustainability-committee/).
