In 2019, UCLA signed an historic renewable rate agreement with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power for 10 megawatts of off-site solar, through which the campus received 26,292,629 kilowatt-hours of solar electricity in 2022, and equivalent number of RECs. All RECs purchased and retired are Green-e certified.
