Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

Student/staff data from Fall 2022, data determined and shared by the Office of Institutional Research.

Determining academic departments/programs at such a large institution is an inherently complicated and semi-arbitrary process. For example, we opted to count the College of Business and Journalism and Communications programs as separate departments/programs. We also have newly-added divisions, notably the Knight Campus and the Ballmer Institute, that were counted as both divisions and as a single department/program since they do not, as yet, have individual programs broken out within them. For questions about our decision points in determining 68 academic departments, contact Sarah Stoeckl.
