A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:
VCU is a member of James River Green Building Council, Virginia Sustainable Business Network, AASHE, ACUPCC, USGBC and a stakeholder in Richmond Get Ready. VCU Sustainability is on the VCU Council for Community Engagement and the City of Richmond Sustainability Advisory Plan.
