The workplace health and safety baseline was voted on by the sustainability committee and was officially adopted as a result. This decision was made primarily due to the lack of data available prior to 2008.

A brief description of the institution’s workplace health and safety initiatives, including how workers are engaged in monitoring and advising on health and safety programs:
The College has a Safety committee charged with assuring that the College initiates and maintains a safe work environment and an accident prevention program.
Maxient is being used as a tool to report and track incidents and to help communication among college personnel dealing with student and non-student issues.
RAVE is an emergency notification system that offers various forms of communication such as text messaging, email, and voice mail messaging to students and staff in the event of a campus emergency.
Training for volunteer building responders are held in the spring.
Emergency respond guides can be found in all classrooms and offices.
