A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):

For Students: The Health Center at Bryn Mawr provides students with convenient, comprehensive care on campus, including: nursing care available on a walk-in basis any time the Health Center is open; same day appointments Monday thru Friday with a nurse practitioner or physician; gynecology appointments with a nurse practitioner. Short-term counseling and Medication management with a psychiatrist are also provided. Counseling service include assessment, treatment, education, consultation, and referral services to support the well being and functioning of BMC students. There are no financial barriers for needed counseling visits.

For Faculty and Staff: The college offers an employee assistance program through Aetna to full and part time employees. Services include: Individual Counseling, Bereavement Counseling, Relationship and Family Counseling, Community Resources Referrals, Work-related Stress, Substance Abuse, and Legal/Financial Concerns. In addition, the college offers wellness programs such as the "Fit Club" to the entire College Community. Fit Club includes Zumba, Yoga, Swimming, Spinning and other fitness classes at no charge.
