A brief description of how and when the cultural assessment(s) were developed and/or adopted:

In partnership with the Green Campus Enterprise, the office of sustainability and resilience has assessed student, staff, and faculty attitudes toward alternative transportation investments for the past 2 years, and will continue to do so. The survey is sent to all of campus, and we get about 2,500 responses (30%)

Additionally, we have administered surveys to asses attitude toward recycling, composting, and assessment of our campus signage and infrastructure in our main campus cafe in the library - an area that has challenges with contamination in the waste stream.

we assign weights to the user groups to reflect our balance of individuals across categories and calculate support based on that.

A brief summary of results from the cultural assessment:

across all user groups, campus members are supportive of investments in alternative transportation infrastructure. Expanded bussing receives the strongest support, with in Improved campus and near campus infrastructure for pedestrians and bikes a close second.
