Michigan Tech offers need-based aid. Need is determined by FAFSA results, and in terms of federal need-based aid, students could be offered the Pell Grant, SEOG, subsidized federal loans, and federal work-study. Among State of MI aid that is offered for students with need, the Tuition Incentive Program, Michigan Competitive Scholarship, and Fostering Futures Scholarship. Finally, Michigan Tech offers significant institutional gift aid and sponsored gift aid for students with financial need.
