Available to Students:

Counseling - http://www.mtu.edu/counseling/
Counseling Services provides short-term, solution-focused mental health counseling. Utilizing a stepped-care approach, students are provided with the most effective, least-intensive type of treatment needed to address the concerns they are experiencing. Combined with additional supports, such as workshops and group therapy, our services allow students to fully engage academically and socially during their time at Michigan Tech. Our approach to services traditionally meet the needs of our students; however, there are instances in which a student's needs may lay outside the scope of care provided by our staff at which point the student may be referred to services outside of our office.
