A brief description of the institution’s sustainability partnerships with the local community:
Moraine valley has representation on the Governor's Green Universities and Colleges Subcommittee (and 2 other subcommittees of Policy and Symposium) of the Green Government's Coordinating Council.
Economic Development Center of MVCC has an advisory council of 13 business community members who each year coordinate a Green Forum for different sectors of the business community.
Moraine Valley's Center for Sustainability is convening a Task-force of the Mayors group that serve the 26 communities of the Moraine Valley district.
