A brief description of the institution’s program to support employee volunteering:

Trash 2 Treasure and ServErie are two programs in which employees regularly engage in community service. Trash 2 Treasure is basically a community scale garage sale in which students and community members donate items to be resold. All proceeds benefit United Way of Erie. Faculty and Staff are allowed to count up to 10 hours per week of work hours (for 2 weeks) toward the organization and administration of the event.

During our Start with Service bi-annual events employees can spend their work day volunteering as part of ServErie.
