We have installed 3, level-2 (CT4000 ChargePoint with SAEJ1772 compliant plugs) charging stations on the Penn State Erie, The Behrend College campus. One of these chargers is installed within the parking garage next to the Burke Building, while the other two are installed within the Prischak Parking Lot adjacent to the Science Complex. Both of these locations are open to the public. The Behrend campus is immediately adjacent to Interstate 90, making this location ideal for both the campus community and interstate travelers. Penn State Erie, The Behrend College maintains the Commercial Cloud Plan to ensure the charging stations are continually networked with 24-hr customer support.

Through a partnership between Penn State Behrend and the Erie Metropolitan Transit Authority—otherwise known as the "e"—all students, faculty, and staff may ride the bus for free. Just show your Penn State ID to the driver and you're on your way! All community routes and the campus loop are included.
