Salisbury University seeks to create and maintain a welcoming and inclusive campus environment that respects individual abilities, differences, needs, and potentials. The study was conducted to understand the current climate that exists at SU. This campus climate study provided the opportunity for members of the campus community to describe their personal experiences and observations, and offer suggestions for change to help enhance the campus climate at SU.

The goals of the climate study were to:

- Identify successful initiatives;
- Uncover challenges facing members of our University community; and
- Develop strategic initiatives to build on the successes and address the challenges.

All Salisbury University faculty, staff and students were encouraged to participate in this confidential study that was conducted by an external consultant, Rankin & Associates Consulting, which has conducted more than 200 similar studies at other institutions across the nation. The findings from this survey are used to help SU to create and maintain a healthy, inclusive environment for all.

For a description of the methodology used in the campus climate study, please review the SU Campus Climate Survey Final Report (attached).
