As a part of the Vincentian Mission, Faculty are encouraged to participate in service with the student community. Many Faculty include this service in their classes and join in the experience with fellow colleagues and their students. The Department of Academic Service Learning provides opportunity for Faculty to engage through mini grants and certificate programs that offer a small stipend.

Once a week University students go to Manhattan and serve homeless people food and offer clothes. Meals, coats, shoes, and other necessities are all donated on a weekly basis.
