A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :

Conserve To Serve is the newest initiative that began in spring of 2015. The initiative originally began as a way to involve student in saving energy in their residence hall. The benefits are that students help fight global climate change and the dollar value of that energy goes to help fight hunger by supporting St. John's Bread & Life soup kitchen Brooklyn. This Conserve To Serve initiative has now expanded to other "green" initiatives including re-use and recycling, recycling organics for on-site composting, student community garden,
