The university's Institute for Water and Environmental Resilience provides informational sessions and training opportunities for non-academic staff to improve campus practices for sustainable stormwater management.

Stetson is committed to maintaining its membership in AASHE and distributing information about training and professional development opportunities to interested faculty and administrative staff.
In addition, Facilities Management staff is provided opportunities to attend conferences and training to increase knowledge and awareness of best practices and new technologies to support campus sustainability efforts. Examples include IFMA and APPA.
The university provides funding for these opportunities as well as applicable certification renewals.
