Does the institution have and act on a vendor code of conduct or equivalent policy that sets expectations about the social and environmental responsibility of vendors with whom the institution does business?:
Yes

The website URL where the vendor code of conduct or equivalent policy is posted :
A copy of the vendor code of conduct or equivalent policy:
A brief description of programs and strategies institution has implemented to ensure the code is followed, including a brief description of instances when vendor code of conduct has changed purchasing behavior within the last five years, if applicable:

Mount Union currently has a Green-Sustainability Purchasing Policy which directs the University to "give preference to more environmentally friendly and energy efficient products when quality and cost are equal or superior." Because of this, Mount Union has worked with vendors supplying housekeeping supplies to purchase eco-labled products, which, we believe, has encouraged those vendors to seek out those products and offer more of them to their customers.
The policy also states, "Mount Union will work with and give preference to vendors who are socially and environmentally responsible in adhering to the above principles and guidelines."
