LifeWorks is the employee assistance program for faculty, administrators, staff and their families, which provides counseling, referrals, and other resources. LifeWorks, gives employees a real person to talk to, support on a wide range of issues, online access to resources, free booklets, audio recordings, and other resources, referrals, and 24 hour help. The University also offers a comprehensive wellness program. The wellness program includes health risk assessments, screenings, exercise programs, weight loss programs, smoking cessation, learning opportunities (for example: Women’s Wellness Series, Managing Diabetes), healthy menus at food establishments on campus, and other related initiatives. In addition, the University facilitates a monthly Be Well Series, a health and wellness education series for benefit-eligible faculty and staff and their spouses. From high blood pressure to skin cancer to home safety, these quick on-campus programs are designed to help you lead a happier, healthier life.
