The University of Utah’s first Storm Water Management Plan (SWMP) was completed and submitted to the Utah Division of Water Quality (DWQ) on May 18, 2005 and the SWMP was most recently updated July 1st, 2016.

"New sites should therefore be managing rainfall on site at close to 100% of the rainfall volume. Designers are to document the technical basis and calculations for the infiltration rates. The miminum (90th Percentile) calculation is to be included in the November 2016 update to the Campus design standards." (Apendix A, p.14)
