A brief description of the program(s):

Williams College received a grant from the Luce Foundation to support curricular development in courses related to energy and sustainability. Several faculty workshops were held with faculty from a variety of departments to consider how to integrate sustainability related issues into a wide variety of disciplines.


A brief description of the incentives that faculty members who participate in the program(s) receive:

Faculty who participated received a stipend for course development equal to that the college provides for tutorial development. Funds were also available through the same program to bring in outside speakers or other resources for courses developed.
