BHSU partnered with South Dakota School of Mines and Technology (SDSMT) to share a Sustainability Coordinator. Through this arrangement, BHSU has been informally helping SDSMT initiate their own sustainability programs on campus. For instance, SDSMT is interested in starting a STARS report; BHSU has been providing advice and training to the new Sustainability Coordinator who will then be able to conduct a STARS report at SDSMT. BHSU has also mentored USD on recycling programs; helped implement trash buddies.
