Living wage based on 2080 working hours in the year (52 weeks x40 hours/wk) for a family of four with two full-time incomes. Living wage Lawrence County = $22.30/hr or $46,348 annually. Compensation ONLY for lowest paid full-time employee = $15.32 hourly, or $31,866 annually. Total compensation of the lowest paid employee includes healthcare and retirement funded by the institution. FY23 healthcare = $9,872 per employee. FY23 Employer retirement contribution = 6% of gross (approx. $1,912/yr). Total compensation for lowest paid permanent employee = $41,738 or $20.07/hr.
