A brief description of the institution’s programs that help increase the diversity of higher education faculty:
The employment equity program has been in place at GBC for over 15 years. An annual report and recommendations are provided to the College on a yearly basis. Aboriginal internships are part of our Employment Equity portfolio. Materials are provided to the College’s HR employment consultants regarding culturally competent hiring practices. Accessibility for Ontarions with Disabilities Act (AODA) employment standards are being met by the College.
