Institutional Repositories Kean University has implemented "Kean Digital Learning Commons (KDLC)" to collect, preserve, archive, and make accessible scholarly and creative works, research data, and other materials produced by the faculty, staff, and students of Kean University. KDLC will serve as a common repository for all Open Educational Resources. Institutional Repositories (IRs) combine all of a University's research under one umbrella to preserve and provide access to that research.

Kean University provides open access journal hosting services through CORE and All Academic.

CORE harvests research papers from data providers from all over the world including institutional and subject repositories, open access and hybrid journal publishers. CORE currently contains 135,539,113 open access articles, from thousands and over tens of thousands of journals, collected from 5,969 data providers around the world.

All Academic is an application service provider specializing in tools for the academic research community. It provides convention and abstract management services, archiving of academic materials, and tools for academic research.
