A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :

All new students are required to register for T2K (Transition to Kean). This course is designed to help students adjust to academic and student life at Kean, introduce them to the General Education Program, and emphasize student success skills (an example of which are the University's sustainability efforts). Each T2K section is given a GEM designed to lead them through the process and provide peer-to-peer interactions.
